Rocky Mountain High

Last week was very exciting for our little family of three - our first vacation with Brayden!

We spent four days and three nights in Breckenridge, Colorado.  Even though I was apprehensive leading up to the trip, Brayden did wonderful with the flight, altitude and time change.  Our lodge's close proximity to Breck's downtown shops and restaurants put us in walking distance to eat out and enjoy the town while still keeping Brayden close enough to "home base" to stay somewhat on his schedule.

Here are some of our trip highlights:

- Brayden's first airplane flight
- Celebrating Tim's first Father's Day
- Swimming in a great zero-entry pool at a nearby ski resort - we had the pool to ourselves!
- Playing at the Breckenridge Elementary School's playground
- Brayden's first time swinging - he loved it!
- Eating at our favorite Breck restaurants - Mi Casa, Columbine Cafe  and Downstairs at Eric's
- Splurging on dessert and wine
- Running Breck's great trails - Tim got in several training runs in altitude!
- Brayden's first time wearing shoes for a real purpose

Tim and I feel very blessed to be making these special memories with our precious little boy.
