Brayden was born with a full head of hair. This was quite the surprise considering that his father has been on a hair preservation regiment for years and his mother didn’t have any hair until thirteen months! By this summer, Brayden’s shaggy locks hung in his face and curled after an afternoon in the pool and his sideburns were very long. Time for a visit to Doc’s Barber Shop in Salina for Brayden’s first haircut!
“Doc” has been cutting the Blake’s family hair for years. Each of the Blake boys had their first haircuts at Doc’s so Tim wanted Brayden to continue the tradition. Brayden makes three generations going to Doc's!
Brayden looked quite nervous in the beginning. He sat amazingly quiet, calm and emotionless in the chair while Tim held him in place. I was busy collecting those first precious locks for the baby book. Brayden did great until the last couple minutes when the big tears started rolling down. Ready for the first haircut to be over!
