Brayden's First Christmas

Brayden enjoyed a very nice first Christmas.  Many more holidays like that and we'll need a storage shed for all of Brayden's goodies!  Santa made a early noon delivery to our house on the 22nd before we headed to Salina for several days.  Because he'd been such a good little boy this year, Brayden received an exersaucer and talking puppy from Santa.  He'll need to grow into the exersaucer as it is major overstimulation at this point.  The talking dog, Scout, is programmed to say Brayden's name and some of his favorites things, such as colors, songs and foods.  Brayden definitely doesn't know what to think of Scout yet!

Tim and I have not exchanged Christmas presents since before we were married so Brayden and I surprised Tim with a digital picture frame for his office at work.  Tim added a charm to the bracelet he gave me last year for our 5th wedding anniversary.  The new charm says "Brayden 9.11.11".

In addition to his first Christmas, Brayden experienced his first snow.  Salina received several inches of snow earlier in the week and about four inches still covered the lawns while we were in town.  It was just the right amount of snow to add a festive feel to Christmas.  Brayden also made his first visit to the Hickory Hut, Tim's family's barbeque restaurant.

Brayden saved his Christmas present to mommy and daddy until after the holiday but we didn't mind.  His present to us - Brayden has slept through the night the past three nights!  Let's hope this is the present that keeps on giving!

We had so many good pictures from Christmas that I made the slideshow below with our favorite photos.  We hope you enjoy seeing Brayden's first Christmas as much as we did.
