We have not written much about K-State basketball as it was another roller coaster year for Wildcat fans during the regular season. The team found some of its February magic that seems to appear each year as K-State beat two top 10 ranked teams, Missouri and Baylor, on the road within the same week. Brayden and I attended three basketball games in Manhattan, going 3 for 3 on wins. That is definitely a better record than Tim as he was witness to all four home conference losses.
In addition to his KSU basketball warmup outfit, Brayden has sported his #55 onesie on many game days this season in support of his favorite Wildcat basketball player Will Spradling. Some might say Will has had a bit of a "sophomore slump" this year but Brayden remains a supportive fan and is hoping for some big performances from Will in the post-season. I remain partial to #22 Rodney McGruder. To keep the blog politically correct, we'll just say that Tim insisted on a Will onesie since Will is the hometown kid having graduated from Shawnee Mission South. Sure, that's the reason for a Will jersey versus a Rod jersey! :)
Check back next week for Brayden's NCAA tournament picks. Until then, Go Cats!
