We had the rare opportunity to enjoy a holiday in Kansas City. The three days prior to Easter Tim took his dad and brothers to Chicago for Wes’ bachelor party so Tim, Brayden and I enjoyed a relaxing Sunday at home with just the three of us. It was great to see the pews and parking lot overflowing with families at our Easter service. Brayden’s new thing is to sit on our lap in the aisle seat and smile at everyone walking back from communion! Following brunch at home, we enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful weather outside and Brayden took his first ride facing forward in the stroller. No more car seat in the stroller for our growing little boy! Tim and Brayden also began their father/son tradition of watching the final round of the Master’s Golf Tournament together.
The highlight of the weekend came Saturday evening when Brayden started CRAWLING. We’ll let him tell you about that another time. Mom and dad are too tired from chasing their little mover!
