"Our Little Monkey" - Nursery Pictures

We had a great time creating Brayden’s nursery. Our empty back bedroom finally has a purpose more exciting than storage! The nursery is painted yellow and decorated with monkeys. We added a few items from our own nurseries growing up too, including a blanket homemade by Tim’s Great Grandma Kissick and a ceramic bank homemade by Shelly’s Grandma Partch.

What's in a name?
Brayden's name has been set since early summer but we waited until he was born to tell everyone.  Brayden was actually Tim's first suggestion back in March.  His middle name, Tyler, is named after our friend Tyler Charvat from Salina.  Tim and Tyler have been friends since elementary school.  Tyler set Tim and I up for our first date at the end of high school.  Legend is that Tim promised Tyler to name his first born son "Tyler" if I agreed to the date!
